Since 1990 Murray has served as Vice President Marketing of Stanpac Inc., a leading dairy and ice cream packaging manufacturer, following earlier positions in production and operations management with the company.
During his tenure, Murray helped grow the business through product diversification and aggressive market expansion. From its base in Smithville, Ontario, Stanpac now operates additional manufacturing facilities in New Jersey and Texas, and serves over 1000 customers across 30 countries.
Stanpac first began as a maker of milk caps for glass refillable bottles and now manufactures a full range of packaging solutions including glass refillable milk bottles, tamper evident closures and related packaging. The company also prints directly on glass containers for the wine, spirit, beer, and beverage industries.
Murray is a graduate of Fanshawe College and the Richard Ivey School of Business Marketing Management program at Western University in London, Ontario.
He is a member of the Dairy Products Institute of Texas, former Longhorn President, and the current Vice President of the Society of Glass and Ceramic Decorators.
He and his wife Bev live in the Niagara region of Ontario, where Murray serves as President and Board Chair of McNally House Hospice and as an Elder at the St. John’s Presbyterian Church.
